Wooo! Moving on Up - Yahoo and Google

I was becoming very afraid, but no I’m not afraid of the world wide web anymore. Thank you Yahoo! for placing me #1 on the search for Adam Hirsch and Google for placing me back on #2 but still as #2 … Bastards! Damn you other Adam Hirsch! Damn You!

Remember, there is only 1 Adam Hirsch that matters and it’s me… Adam A Hirsch (.com)

SocialURL Is Kind of Useful

I’ve been looking for a web site to display my Social Web Sites all in one, while they are missing a few, I believe that out of all the ones I’ve tried, Social URL is the best so far. However, I’m ultimately looking for a web site that displays all your URLs in a nicer version, something similar to what I’ve created at my Personal Adam Hirsch web site.

Sharon Feder has her own Web Site and Blog

Sharon Feder Blog Well, sort of, I just Sharon Feder’s Personal site and blog started so there really isn’t anything there. I plan to use Sharon Feder’s web site as a tool for me to use when learning all about CSS, through CSS Mastery (good book so far). So, for now, right this second, there is literally just a few lines of code on the web site. However, as she gives me ideas, I will try and use my knowledge to implement her designs. In addition, since everybody blogs these days, I’ll give Sharon a chance to Blog, she needs a name though for her Blog Site, any suggestions?

Mourning the loss of my Grandfather - Abraham Federman

Abraham Federman Over the weekend, my grandfather, Abraham Federman passed away. He was definitely the patriarch of the family and a shining example as a human being. He’s a true example of someone who lost everything, during the holocaust, and moved to the United States to start a new life and a new family. 4 Children later and and 8 grandchildren later he had definitely accomplished his goal before passing at the age of 89.

“You might be a Jew, but you are a great solider” -Polish Army general about my grandfather (he was the #1 sharp shooter in the Polish Army).

Rising to the Top - of Yahoo! and Google

Adam Hirsch HappyWow, even I’m impressed with myself. About a month and a half ago, I set a goal. That goal was to move to the top of the ranks in the Yahoo! and Google Search Results. I was once there, back when the “age of the pages” mattered, since I had created my first web site about The Who on TheWho.net back in 1998. Now, I’m proud to say that as of this post, I am well into the Top 10 of Yahoo! search for Adam Hirsch and Google search for Adam Hirsch.

Woooo!

FlyZoom.com - IT MAKES ME SO MAD!

I need to rant about how annoying Flyzoom.com is, cheap flights from NYC to Bermuda and London. Awesome. London for a 3 day weekend was just a little too much money, so Bermuda was a better option. There was no direct flight there on the day we wanted, but $44 for premium class on the flight back each. An Amazing Deal. Found 1 way ticket from Orbitz to Bermuda for $157, combined with the $44 is only about a $200 round trip flight to Bermuda. Best Deal, let’s GO! SO, I’m glad I tried to book the FlyZoom.com.

imageHere’s the result for one ticket:
$44.00 Fare, $169.55 TAXES = $213.55 for one way

So, I went from $200 to $400 roundtrip flight for a 3 day vacation. Bastards! Boo Flyzoom.com, BOOO!

Started a new Real Estate Blog: NYC Living Reality

In the efforts to take the knowledge that I learned from creating and forming this blog, I hope to boost the appearance and search engine optimization of my company’s website. Will I succeed? I hope so, my worries are that the search results will lead more people to the new blog, NYC Living Reality, and not to NYC Living Realty. I should probably have something on the top linking directly to the company and contact info, just in case.
