Craziness when TMZ, a paparazzi celebrity chaser magazine/television show/blog covers a Nintendo Wii game, especially Boogie. Here’s what they had to say:
Maybe you can sing or maybe you can dance. Can you do both at the same time? The new EA game, Boogie, gives you a chance to show your friends that you can do both. Using Nintendo Wii’s innovative controllers, you shake and move to the rhythm — while singing along with the included microphone.
TGIF! There’s been a little bit of news to be had on Nintendo’s side. Did anyone catch 30 Rock last night? Great comment, where Tracy Jordan asked Kenneth to sell his wedding ring “in the Jewish part of midtown and come back with a Nintendo Wii”. The whole season preimer (as with the show itself) is absolutely hysterical, I recommend it highly!
I’ve been reading about the counterfeit Wii by China for a few days now and finally Engadget provides a nice clear shot of the actual product called the Vii. There is no word yet through any of the posts what exactly the similarities are to the Wii besides the similar looks of the console and remote. I’m almost positive most countries, if it indeed was a Wii knock-off wouldn’t allow them imported into their countries due to copyright and trade infringements.
Either way, how much cheaper could the Vii be? Who would develop games for it? Did someone extract and duplicate the original Wii system? Could you play Wii games on it? Many questions definitely left unanswered. I will follow up when I hear something else about it. We can be sure though that they won’t provide the amazing support and updates that Nintendo does.
Wow, apparently there is quite a lot going on the Nintendo World today and from last night. I couldn’t believe that major news televisions broadcasts contained a brief mention of the Free Wii Jackets. Crazy. Also, Nintendo is now at an all time high, which apparently there’s been Internet chatter about comparing them to Apple. Wii is a Console and a Handheld, Apple is an empire…
Nintendo Wii Fanboy breaks the news… This is quite sad because I was thinking earlier on today, when is it finally going to be released???? I would’ve paid $50 for it, as I’m sure others would.
Did you know there was a Super Mario Brothers - The Lost Levels? Apparently never released in America and billed sometimes as Super Mario Brother’s 2 (although I’m not sure what Japan did when the “real’ Super Mario Brother’s 2 came out), however, it’s now available on the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console and all the reviews are GET IT! BTW, the game is really just a continuation of the original Super Mario Brothers.
This is the big news for Nintendo today on the Internet. Perhaps they are trying to make current Wii owner’s forget that Nintendo won’t be spreading the love with plentiful Wii Consoles this holiday season. Either way, Suckahs! I’ve already got a Wii and now I’m getting FREE “remote Jackets”! All you need is your Wii Serial # and you can order up to 4…
I was reading earlier today a comment battle on which console should you buy… XBox 360 vs. PS3 vs. Nintendo Wii. Well, not only is the Nintendo Wii the best video game console ever because you can be lazy (standard games), classic (virtual console games) or active (sports and actions games), it can now heal the world. Save the Wii, Save the World…
Look, let’s cut the bullshit and get straight to the point, shall we? This is a keychain that plays Super Mario Bros. sound FX and has a bright red paint job with an old school Mario logo. It is without a doubt the best $5.99 you will ever spend. Why’s this? Because the next time you get drunk off your ass and stumble out of the freshman dorms at your school, you’ll find a party at some frat house. Three hours and a bottle of Goldschlager later, you’ll whip out this keychain and will begin hitting buttons.
