I love Alice in Wonderland, in fact I have quite an extensive collection of editions. So what the F is “Alice in Wonderland Syndrome” and why is it #1 in Google Hot Trends right now?

Apparently:
Did You Know: There is such a thing as Alice in Wonderland Syndrome. The syndrome is characterized as:
A visual disorder in which objects appear much smaller than they actually are, possibly caused by a retinal disorder but often associated with hallucination or an unconscious attempt to shrink the world to a less threatening size.

It’s more than just seeing things smaller than they actually are. And, it can be quite scary when it happens. It’s probably so hot right now because it’s probably more common than people think. AWS shows up regularly in people who get migraines more than 20 million Americans get migraines.
Alice in Wonderland Syndrome is, quite frankly, terrifying. Most of the time you’re already in pain from a headache or simply ill with something else. Your hands start to grow and feel extremely heavy; sometimes your head feels like it’s growing, causing you to have to rest it on something. Then there’s the shrinking, when you feel smaller than you were before, your hands are considerably smaller and when they happen at the same time, it’s truly awful.
