WordPress users should be expecting the release of WordPress version 2.3 on September 24th. It seems thankfully there are a few programmers/developers out there who are not only aware of this but doing something about it by writing new plugins and explaining how to update your themes.
Apparently the upgrade will be “mandatory” because it will also close security issues, so seems like there’s going to be a lot of confusion ahead. Luckily, I’m compiling here articles and posts that will hopefully enable a smooth transition:
