WordPress users should be expecting the release of WordPress version 2.3 on September 24th. It seems thankfully there are a few programmers/developers out there who are not only aware of this but doing something about it by writing new plugins either compatible or exclusively for WordPress 2.3. Either way, in the past week I have posted several posts with new WordPress Plugins, 5 New Wordpress Plugins, 6 Brand Spankin New Wordpress Plugins, Best of the New Wordpress Plugins… Totaling now with the below Plugins over 27 recent additions.
- Tag Suggest Thing -Tag Suggest Thing uses the Yahoo! term extraction API to find tags to suggest.
- EasyRedirect - EasyRedirect allows Wordpress users to redirect to any web-page using a simple tag.
- EasyTube - EasyTube allows Wordpress users to easily embed YouTube and Google Videos using one simple tag.
- Paged Navigation - Replaces those ‘previous/next’ links on pages of posts with proper paged navigation controls. (WordPress 2.3 Compatible)
- Sub-Page Links - Creates an automatic links index of page parent, children (subs) and siblings that can be displayed on all the pages in a ‘group’. (Wordpress 2.3 Compatible)
- Click Tags - This is strictly for WordPress 2.3 and their new tags implementation. This helps to resolve one of those tasks by displaying a ’clickable’ list of current tags above the tag input field. Mostly useful for people who don’t have an enormous quantity of tags defined!
- Broken Images - Designed to fight broken images on your WordPress powered site by allowing you to hide, style, or replace them.
- Click Tracking - Monitor visitors’ clicks on your blog.
