The dumbing of America Saga continues..

AP – Average math and reading SAT scores fell four points for the high school class of 2007 to their lowest mark since 1999.

The slight declines occurred as the number of high school students taking the standardized exam grew larger.

well at least they didn't say 1998, because then they'd be talking about us, and that'd be one hell of a low blow...but would also explain a lot.
